I always have problems of one kind or another with Bravenet.  My hosting service has expired and when I went to check out my website, nothing was there.  It is a paid annually site, so who knows.

We have had some nice weather.  Cooler temps and afternoon and evening thunderstorms so we don't have to water anything, lol.

Not a lot going on around here.  We have been eating out a little more often since it is often less expensive than eating at home and I get to taste someone else's cooking.  Isn't the price of everything just crazy??  Thank goodness for Walmart, but of course, their prices are up also.  Still, overall, they save us money.

Time to think of what to fix for dinner.  Probably fried chicken and mashed potatoes and a salad.  Something simple and I know Floyd will like it.

I found a website that I really enjoy.  It is written by people touring the country and also other countries via touring bikes.  It is fun to follow these folks from start to finish.  Some are young and spend all their nights in a tent and others are more comfortable and enjoy the luxury of motels at night.  They are all fun and adventurous types. So it is Friday again, ready for the weekend??  With gas prices where they are, I doubt if anyone leaves town, lol.

We can get gas in Palomas, Mx for $2.10/gal.  This is for full service no less. I don't know why our government doesn't nationalize the oil companies because they are hijacking us.  The government in Mexico owns the oil company, PEMEX and the price is regulated so the people aren't ripped off.  We have all heard how Exxon-Mobil has record profits this year, so we are being had.

I am in a bad mood because of how Hillary was treated by the media and still is for that matter.  Honestly, men are scared to death of a smart determined woman. What's wrong with them?????

Not a lot going on these lazy summer days.  Tomorrow Floyd has an appointment to get his exam for new eyeglasses.  He has been on eye drops for the past month and even before his eye surgery.  Hopefully, he will get his eyeglass script and no more eye drops!

Things are going on as planned in Deming.  Everything here seems to take forever.  Finally, there is actual construction on the Entertainment Center that is about 5 years past due.  Also, the old Farmers IGA Market and Mall has been torn down and there is construction underway for a Judicial Complex.  What else...oh yes, a new Chinese Eatery on Cedar St., kind of fast-food Chinese take out, Eastern Star Chinese Restaurant.  We haven't actually been by there.  Also, it appears that our little Casino will not get approved, so that is too bad as we were looking forward to it.

Gonna read for a while then fix a simple dinner, (pizza).  Talk with you all later.

After searching the web for days, I finally realized that my website was tied to one of my Bravenet accounts.  Well, that is ok.  I don't need another blog, but what the heck, it will be easier to connect with my Bravenet friends this way and also, they can find me easier too.
